The majority of "developers" relegate their git interactions to their IDE, in which VSCode (of all choices) is becoming the norm, or if they use GitHub itself, the "Github Desktop" client.
Its as if they are actively seeking out the worst experience they can get. -

(I naively hope they have some sort of support email that would let me get my account deleted if I so desired, but knowing what I know of modern companies, I think otherwise.)
