   @smittytone @neil @rogerlipscombe I'd recommend a 3MX if possible—the soap-on-a-rope RS232 dongle for the 3/3A/3C is ridiculous. Also stock up on memory cards for that maximum 16Mb of fixed storage! Raaaar!

   Really, it was gorgeous design in the 1990s but it's very obscure retrocomputing today. And watch out for the hinges and screen cable fracturing with age.

     @Dss @smittytone @neil @rogerlipscombe The nearest we've come to them for many years was the Planet Computers' smartphones, most recently the Astro Slide 5G—then PC's ODM went bust so they're rare as hens' teeth and the software is a bit flaky. But oh so close!

     (I'd love to be able to drop a few million quid on a project to hire Martin Riddiford—the Psion design guy—to do a clip-on keyboard like the Astro's for iPhone Pro and Android phones. Alas, it's unlikely …)
