   One thing to remember as Tiktok heads into its final weekend is that it started as a third-rate lip-sync app that American teens hijacked ironically to make into their own community. People infuse life into these platforms, not the other way around. We can make anyplace we want our own.

     @evan I think this shift to Redbook is interesting for the same reason.

     It’s an incredibly unlikely place for an English-speaking community to establish roots, and yet…

     It’s also hilarious, given the (stated) aims of the TikTok ban.
