   Feature request: provide an embedded thumbnail of the picture for links to a post.

   I shared a post on Lemmy ( https://communick.news/post/2379158 ) and both Mastodon and PixelFed had a thumbnail without any intervention from me.

     Yeah, that's what I had in mind. For some reason though Lemmy wasn't able to get the thumbnail when I shared the link to the post.

     If you have a Lemmy account, could you try posting a vernissage photo status on fediclicks@viewfinder.pro ?

     @raphael I don’t have an account on any Lemmy instance, and I don’t have much experience with the platform. However, when I open the link you sent, I do see a thumbnail.

     The thumbnail is only there because I manually added to the post.
