A big part of the cost increase is the number of non-teacher staff at schools has skyrocketed.
It's same with non-doctors and hospital.
Staff costs money.

@ILoveAmericaNews @professortom My (public) college brought in a new Senior VP of Diversity (with a high salary). Guy couldn't say the word 'women' without qualifiers ('people who identify as'). He then brought in a (new) army of subordinates. The students (tuition) and taxpayers paid for all this new staff.
