     @alis the whole arts precinct is good. NGV has the international gallery (where Yayoi Kusama is) and also the Australian gallery at federation square.

     @alis I've never met a museum I didn't like so I'm probably not very discerning in my museum recs.

     But I went to the Chinese Museum last year and didn't give myself nearly enough time to take everything in https://www.chinesemuseum.com.au/

     Even if you're not a huge fan of tennis, you might enjoy getting a general admission ticket to the Australian Open. You won't be able to go in the main courts but I think it's fun to watch matches on the outside courts, and also just hang out with all the people watching the headline matches on the giant screens. https://ausopen.com/

     @alis there's always something happening in the CBD anyway, which is part of the reason that I love living here. On any given day (especially weekends) there's usually something worth seeing around federation square

     @alis there are lots of gems in CBD laneways.

     @alis I don't know if I genuinely believe the croissants are so spectacularly good as to be worth lining up for 15-30 minutes, but maybe if you're not otherwise in a hurry?? I'm in the Lune Line right now

     We’ll be down there because the in-laws do an annual AO trip, so they book a big house and there’s a very complicated spreadsheet working out everyone’s tennis allocation, lol. But I am the Tennis Abstainer, hence needing a bunch of other activities to keep me out of trouble for the week.
