   @DifferentDrummer when it comes to pixelfed I created an account on gram.social

   I just got there but it seems that its easier to follow/explore hashtags (here as well, I think following hashtags are great for finding new people)

     OPEN REQUEST.

     I have been on Mastodon since Musk even POSITED buying Twxttxr. Five/six months before the first exodus from there to here. I still often feel like I don't know the first thing about what goes on here. Partly because of all the techy posts.

     I would LIKE to explore the #fediverse a lot more. Particularly Pixelfed and Peertube. @FediTips shows HOW to do that but I need a WHERE. A recommendation of general interest instances that aren't the equivalent of dot social would be good.
