whoever said money can't buy happiness must not have realized you can buy a little arm that holds your ereader above your face in bed, and a remote so you can turn the pages without taking your arms out from under the covers

There are clip on remotes as well that turn the page by I think literally making the device think you've tapped the screen. Works with anything, but inelegant.

Infoseepage #StopGazaGenocide (infoseepage@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 16-Jan-2025 10:13:35 JST Infoseepage #StopGazaGenocide @grissallia @molly0xfff I like the Zero 2 controller because it fits very comfortably sideways in my close palm and I can actuate the large shoulder buttons for page up and down. Very comfortable solution and very cheap at $17.
Plus, you get a tiny key-chainable game controller out of it, if playing video games while on the go is your thing.

Those mini game pads are quite slick. I use one with JoyToKey to control desktop programs when I don't want to keep reaching for the keyboard.

Charlie. Probably. (charlie@hachyderm.io)'s status on Thursday, 16-Jan-2025 21:56:31 JST Charlie. Probably. As a proponent of sleep, I applaud this, @molly0xfff — making bed-time reading more of a passive pastime must surely make it more conducive to falling asleep. Anything which gifts human beings with slumber is grand!
e-readers are already better for this than printed books, even without a mounting arm.
