First let me express that I appreciate your dialogue and taking the time to write your post, it at least let's me know that you view me as conscious of my decisions which is more than I can say for others who treat me as nonhuman and not worth the courtesy of said dialogue.

I understand your idealism of wanting fediverse to be welcoming. I try to keep in a mindset of being excellent to others, which is why I'm engaging in this discussion, I don't particularly enjoy dogging people I don't like or disagree with it's just not enjoyable for me. I prefer the easier method of just ignoring them or using ny word filter.

I will however note from personal experience people have not been welcoming to me or my instance like ever, and that won't change. It really doesn't matter what I implement people will not be satisfied. Distrotoot (the former instance we came from) had clauses against hate speech, transmiassia (idk how to spell that), homophobia, trolling etc etc, we even defederated poast and a bunch of the unsavory and annoying right wing instances. People still fediblocked that instance cause it wasn't enough. We by mere association having been mostly people from that instance were fediblocked THE WEEK we started, and we didn't even do anything and we're three years old now.

You might genuinely think that's an uncommon occurrence or that it shouldn't happen, but it's common and frequent and you just stop caring.

Hypothetically even if I did implement safe space policy, or something like "don't kill the vibe" (which I think is just an unspoken rule in our instance), it doesn't matter people will still hate me, hate my instance, hate my users, rules, the fact that they're not on their instance, etc etc.

My goal is not to have a community it's to teach you how to use fediverse implementations, and so far I've been successful in that goal, I know of at least 6-8 users who run their own instances, left on good terms, two of whom run successful public instances who still federate with us.

I disagree heavily on calling this instance a nazi instance. I disagree also heavily with using the term nazi to describe anyone who isn't a member of the national socialist german workers party. Nazism is a failed ideology which probably would (if it was good for anything) exterminate most of the modern practitioners given how most aren't Aryan, would not be given breeding rights in an ethnostate if one was enacted due to being porn addicts, drug users, closeted homosexuals, disabled, gypsy sub humans, closeted pedophiles and other degenerates.

I do not id my users, or ask for their race, sex, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, any disabilities they have, if they are mixed race, etc.

I have not in my time on this network ever found a genuine living Nazi, if someone on here says they are (Yeah sure you are), they're lying to you, lying to themselves, and 9 times out of 10 don't have offspring and will likely never if they don't get a life, making them genetic deadbeats which is antithetical to the ideology they espout.

Lastly I appreciate your acknowledgement in that smaller instances like us being important, if small scale fedis wasn't we'd all just be on mstdn social or whatever and be completely fine with that. So the only thing I'm gonna say is the comment is probably off topic to our instance but that's about it, if it turned into a hellthread (or flame war you might know it as) a generally unproductive thread I might have removed it, but our users don't engage in those if you literally ignore them and they know those are banned anyway. I will do this though...

I've done actions like that, to a former user @2T because he wouldn't shut up about Covid Vaccine with another instance admin quite literally, didn't even take action against him just suggested that he make a noagendasocial alt. He leaves calls me Fauci bootlicker and I'm not even vaxxed. Weird :cirno_shrug:

Had another user post asking for pornographic images to be linked in a thread that was created. I delete said thread and don't even bring it up with them didn't apply any punishment other than just post removal. They left after asking me if I removed their post which I did.

I do LITERALLY nothing and some kid gets ass mad that I don't defederate enough instances that don't break our rules, instead giving users that choice with domain blocking and word muting. He makes his own hugbox single user instance defederates everyone (as you do) then closes up shop when he finds out that the problem was actually himself because he just genuinely doesn't like people and nobody like him either.

All in all those are the reasons I do what I do, I'm not intentionally trying to make people mad or hurt or whatever. But the reality is people are going to get mad at me regardless of what I do. So again domain block us or my rec just the user.
