@a1ba Reminds me of using mke2fs to create an ext4 image from a directory/archive (using libarchive so could even do ISO image to ext4 lol). -

@engarneering @a1ba Reminds me that one of the floppies I found in my dad's stuff had "unix tar format" written on it.
After all at first it was just an append-only filesystem. -
