     @ignaloidas you could implement IPNS on top of bittorrent mainline DHT, it has short-lived expiring keys pretty much the same as how IPNS stores names.

     @sun@shitposter.world IPFS in general is quite shit. It's essentially reinventing torrents+DHT, just with a shittier protocol. IPNS (or whatever the stable naming thing of theirs is called) is more interesting, but seemed hopelessly tied to the rest of the shit to be useful.
