     i'm pretty sure, most people driving that dumb hunk of a car don't really need it. like come on. if you need lots of transport space, a van is the better option. if you need more personal space, an estate got you covered. and those two have the added bonus to not drink as much fuel as that stupid pick up thing

     btw i feel the same about people driving SUVs. those things don't make any practical sense at all

     tbh those things existing shows how cheaty the car manufacturers are to bypass regulations. like SUVs and pick up trucks only exists because they get classified as trucks instead of cars and therefore don't have that high standards for emission tests
     honestly, i'm for a ban for those things for private persons

     @schratze@todon.nl yes, i think it also applies to europe. altho those are a lot smaller than the US counterparts (they are still way too big to my taste)

     @puniko yeah even ostensibly tiny SUVs such as the Aygo X are still so much more dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists
