     @maxsidman their sourdough is so good it makes me question whether my disdain for sourdough is actually for SF style sourdough only. Coz I like their stuff a lot

     @skinnylatte Every time I visit my folks, Ad Astra is a must! My mom is a fiend for their sourdough. I’ve mentally cataloged a handful of their Monterey Peninsula grocer network spots, too, just in case I’m not able to hit the shop when I’m in town.

     @skinnylatte whaaat, that chocolate-croissant-esque one (rectangular) is intense. I guess they worked the dough to make the lamination perpendicular to the sheet in the end?

     I guess they could take regular dough, wave it together like an accordion, and slice the top off.

     Lemme know if you have any other speculation or answer.
