It's not just #Trump humping #Greenland, the techbros want Greenland to build their slave state in a faux-Mars frozen wasteland. They don't want to wait for #Musk to get to Mars, and he's never gonna get there anyway. If you think he'll get to #Mars, I've got a Cybertruck with rockets and flamethrowers strapped to it to sell you. Comes with a free Brooklyn Bridge. It'll be so much easier to ship people to the reeducation spas in Terminus-Greenland

Humans collectively are busy making the planet we evolved on inhabitable, what makes us think we can make another planet livable? I think we should stop trying so hard to destroy Earth's biosphere before we take on rehabbing another planet.

She's pulled off some of the biggest advances in space travel in decades, and has slashed low earth orbit costs by a crazy amount. Of course, Elon takes the credit for everything, but SpaceX has been successful more despite Elon than because of him, and because she knows how to play the massage Elon's ego game.
It mainly depends on how much funding Elon, Wall Street, and/or NASA wants to give them.
