KDE in contrast is an unstable dumpster fire because they go in all directions at once, because they've listened to everybody's suggestions over the decades regardless of how stupid they are, as long as they were loud enough and spoken by enough people. If Bassi went to work for KDE, they'd get all their technical debt, memory leak problems and Kwin crashes sorted out within 2-3 years, I guarantee it. It would undoubtedly cause a major backlash though, because "NOOO DON'T REMOVE THIS UNMAINTAINED AND POORLY IMPLEMENTED FEATURE THAT ONLY 5 PEOPLE USE, I NEED IT, BECAUSE I JUST DO OKAY?!?!?!!"
