> That’s what people used to say about TV and video games.
They were right, and TV is like caffeine to tiktok's heroin. Every time I walk through an airport now I see a dozen or more people slumped over shooting tiktok into their eyeballs looking like actual drug addicts, until their plane arrives.- iced depresso, Doughnut Lollipop 【記録係】:blobfoxgooglymlem: and mangeurdenuage :gnu: :trisquel: :gondola_head: 🌿 :abeshinzo: :ignucius: and 2 others like this.

@sun@shitposter.world I look at my phone less than most of the people around me on public transport, it makes me feel fucking weird how quickly the tables have reversed.

@evelyn I felt the same way when in around 2010 I was growing tired and fearful about arguing online, and everyone around me was by that point arguing on facebook all day.
My childhood was "why are you on the computer all the time dork" and everyone who said that is now addicted to the absolute worst apps on their phones looking at them everywhere. -
