   Thousands of civilians rallying from several areas in northeastern Syria have been taking turns at protecting the contested Tishreen Dam, the second most important dam on the Euphrates River, from Turkish attacks.

   A Turkish drone strike targeting a civilian convoy near the dam resulted in multiple casualties, according to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
