reminds me of the "without religion, people don't believe in nothing, but anything" - but this is "without a society .. "

@sickburnbro >high neuroticism
Explains why the most fervent of those conspiracy theorists are always women. I think they took a direct energy weapon (the microwave) to the brain

@Jewpacabra ironically, morlockP was talking about the energy density of dry wood, and someone chimed in that their professor had done calucations on nuclear weapons in ww2, then afterwards did some stuff on forest fires, and was confused, asked firefighters and they said "mm yeah seems right"
So, "direct energy weapon" isn't actually unrealistic; it's just these people don't understand that's why do you management of forests and such.

@sickburnbro Why go to lasers? If the government wanted to start a wild fire, they'd just send a guy with matches. People think irl is a movie

@Victor_Emmanuel because people have no idea how easy something like that actually is - they obviously have never been camping in a high fire danger area. People take that extremely seriously because .. it is dangerous.

@BroDrillard oh I'm sure of it. But the problem is that they aren't the only one who can do this, and as we've seen memes that more correctly hold the truth are stickier.

My meta conspiracy theory, that I'm absolutely convinced of, is that the CIA/whoever engages in epistemic poisoning. They seed retarded theories like flat Earth, energy weapons, etc to discredit conspiracy theories that notice and describe real activities of the ruling class, intelligence agencies, jews.
