   Hey everyone! I'm after ideas of people to follow, to make Mastodon feel a bit more like home (or like Twitter used to feel like in 2016, one or the other). I'm looking for:
   - Journalists. Preferably Tasmanian or climate-focused, but any suggestions are fine. Nothing further right-leaning than The Economist would publish.
   - Other business people who like talking about subjects such as marketing, productivity, small business issues, etc.
   - People who post lots of photos of their lives (like Instagram). Bonus points if they're woodworkers or gardeners or into permaculture.
   - Reposters of hilariously bad life advice gleaned from Reddit comments. We all need a laugh.

   I'm on a quest to reduce the number of social networks I'm on, and Threads is going first.

     @jackscottau Hi Jack, one thing Mastodon allows that I found very useful to get my feed humming was that it lets you follow hashtags. When I sharted out here, I followed a heap of hashtags of things that interested me, and when I found someone I knew or whose posts I loved on those hashtags, I'd follow the person. You can also add hashtags to your profile, then someone searching by hashtag will find you.
