i have no words for what’s happening in Los Angeles. i can’t even imagine the amount of lives lost, both human and fauna; but i have so many questions:
was this another naturally occurring fire in #California?
how many miles of land have burned down?
have California really not adopted burn downs state-wide?
are Californians really not dealing with all the invasive species starting many of these fires?
what are they gonna do to stop these massive seasonal fires?

When you burn down a whole town (Paradise),another one in Hawaii - Maui, and a big chunk of Santa Rosa, CA, you start clearing around your old transmission lines, and you start shutting down power to zones getting hit by high winds. Now they send shut down notices and turn off power to keep the lines from starting fires.

Lawsuits against electric utility companies has made them re-think their maintenance and operations after sparking quite a few major conflagrations. (Camp Fire in Paradise, Tubbs Fire, etc)
