        Carnosaur (film)
        Carnosaur is a 1993 American science fiction horror film written and directed by Adam Simon. The film stars Diane Ladd, Raphael Sbarge, Jennifer Runyon, and Harrison Page. Loosely based on the 1984 John Brosnan novel of the same name, it follows characters Doc Smith and Ann Thrush in their efforts to thwart Dr. Jane Tiptree's plan to exterminate the human race with a lethal virus and replace them with her own genetically created dinosaurs. Roger Corman acquired the rights to Brosnan's novel in 1991 and the project entered production two years later to capitalize on an extensive marketing campaign used to promote Jurassic Park. Simon was hired to direct Carnosaur and is credited with writing the screenplay, reworking most of the plot elements of the novel. Afforded an $850,000 budget, the special effects were completed with models and animatronics largely designed by John Carl Buechler. Carnosaur was released on May 14, 1993, in Ogden, Utah, and then released regionally in the United States one day later and grossed $1.8 million. The film was panned by critics. Roger Ebert named it the worst movie of 1993...

      @sun we watched that. here's my review.

      >Shitty horror flick that had the extreme misfortune of releasing in theaters two weeks before Jurassic Park (ironically, it's based on a novel that predated Jurassic Park by six years, and may have even inspired Michael Crichton). Poor acting, poor directing, really shitty dinosaur puppets, and cheap-looking fake gore. There's a part where annoying hippies get eaten by dinos, one where a cop gets sodomized by a raptor claw, and Ron Howard acts like a weirdo in a few scenes, but this movie has little else to offer unless you legitimately enjoy terrible movies. Someone in chat said the novel was way better, and I believe him.

        Wagons East (sometimes styled as Wagons East!) is a 1994 American Western adventure comedy film directed by Peter Markle, written by Matthew Carlson, and starring John Candy, Richard Lewis, John C. McGinley, Ellen Greene, Robert Picardo, Rodney A. Grant, and Ed Lauter. It tells the story of an alcoholic wagon master who leads a group of misfit settlers in the Wild West back to the East. The film was released in the United States on August 26, 1994. Filming took place in Sierra de Órganos National Park in the town of Sombrerete, Mexico, and in Durango, Mexico. During the final days of the film's production in Durango, Mexico, John Candy died of a heart attack at the age of 43.       I watched that a few years back when my friend and his wife came over (must have been on Amazon or something).

      They really didn't like it but I though it was great.

      I like how the traffic sounds in Olympus got louder as the film progressed.

      That reminds me, about that time I was on a business trip and stayed over at a friends place. Had a day and he said I could use his netflix and they had Pumping Iron.

      When he came home and check all the suggestions were of bodybuilding films/training courses which of course had thumbnails of muscular, sweaty men.

      @noyoushutthefuckupdad I'm specifically interested in the first film. I've heard there's a lot of time and work spent in dinosaurs research and their movements, so I really wish it could watch this one for educational purposes.
      Also I remember another film about dinosaurs, but I forgot it's name...
