     @john_fisherman @eff Nah, I’ve already given up on expecting anything from libertarian US orgs. This is about Mastodon gGmbH federating with Threads and partnering up with (whitewashing) Meta at the Social Web Foundation.

     @aral @eff yeah, we need to once and for all stop labeling Meta et al as cool, edgy, startup cos, and expose them for the power-hungry structures they truly are.
