   @jaztrophysicist @sundogplanets Yes, JPL and all of the residential areas around it have been evacuated. They are now shutting down computer systems and transfering the Deep Space Network operations to their operations center at Goldstone.

     There were 50+ mph winds at Fort Irwin last night.

     Fortunately, the antennas and the Goldstone on-site buildings can handle that.

     @EricFielding @michael_w_busch @jaztrophysicist @sundogplanets especially not at Goldstone. Aside from a tiny bit of landscaping at the main control center building, the only other living anything (plant or animal) I saw out there the last time I was there was a couple burros.
