   Was just reminded of the fact that #CallOfDuty and #Activision as a company learned long ago to weaponize the install size of their games.

   (Ex)developers have confirmed this in interviews.

   Once Activision made the connection between 1) Many, if not most, gamers have limited storage space, which 2) forces them to make tough decisions about which games to keep around, an evil light bulb went off.

   Activision implemented policies to deliberately balloon the size of their games in order to push other games off players' systems.

   They can't lose players to competing games if those games can't even be installed.

     @InfiniteHench Having just recently replayed some old games by Raven before they became a support developer, I'd love to see them be independent again. Would you mind sharing one of those interviews?

     @JTO_is_Typing Can dig for them later. But off the top of my head, I remember Bungie confirming this in a roundabout way during a talk at.... GDC? I think? Years ago, back when sunsetting came to #Destiny2
