     My love is the Fediverse but it's almost impossible to directly make a living from the people here. I'm not putting this place down. I love that it's not centered around commerce like everywhere else.

     @sun Fediverse is a terrible place to try and do anything commercial because it’s one of the most concentrated wells of crazy on the Internet.

     This is the kind of place where I wouldn’t sell anything that wasn’t paid in crypto, scrubbed with rubbing alcohol to remove prints, packed with nitrile gloves, and passed through at least two remaining services.

     But that’s also why it’s such a fun space.

     @sun The main issue with current digital commerce is that it's mainly based on the abuse of ignorant people.
     And because of the historical development of this strategy people considers tech for granted and can't properly evaluate the cost of maintaining the infrastructures.
