   It truly beggars imagination how much time in my household is wasted looking for things that would never be lost if their owners would just - for the love of God and I am begging you - put them where they go.

   I have spent probably a majority of my kids' waking hours, since they could walk, repeating the words "put things away where they belong”, to exactly zero effect.

     @darkuncle i know i have 100% turned into my dad because when someone asks “where are the scissors” i reply “in the scissors place” because there should be one answer to that question
