Video game graphics already look good enough. They have for the better part of the last decade and we are at the point of diminishing returns. Imo, the thing that AAA studios should be focusing more effort on is physics simulation. That will help the game worlds feel much more immersive, by exponential amounts. I want to see reactive water, cloth, dirt, sand, trees, grass, everything.

@colahpse @beardalaxy i'd prefer AAA devs learn from nintendo and take two to completely rape anyone who does anything related to modding 20+ year old games or porting them to other platforms with lawsuits and basically lawsuit raping everyone and everywhere so everyone fucking hates AAA devs -

I'd prefer AAA devs learn from the Nintendo school of "Bigger is not better". Graphics and physics can't help a $70 game if the foundation is shit.
