   So for around 5E/mo yo can get 1TB of storage from #Hetzner. Nextcloud backed. So you can use/sync from your devices. Works for me (and my family) and is more trustworthy than Dropbox etc, IMHO. If you don't like Hetzner, don't use this. No need to tell me about why. I made my decision. https://www.hetzner.com/storage/storage-share/

     @ujay68 Sure, I also sync to my NAS at home. But don't forget that 4 backups/day are part of the Hetzner plan.

     @bookwar Interesting. Can you point me to the offering? I've only found this which is significantly more expensive than Hetzner:

     I run my Nextcloud in my own VPS and mount 1TB Storage Box by Hetzner to it, that way I can run whatever I want and have cheap storage, too. But I don't want to run VPSes and Nextcloud instances for other people.

     I've got my Managed Nextcloud from IONOS. Similarly priced.

     It also offers Collabora Office integration for additional money.

     @jwildeboer yeah, it's great. I just set up one instance for my parents in law.
     I only wish it supported more resource hungry features such as video thumbnails, or facial recognition in Photos, or Nextcloud Office. I understand it requires more resources, but I'd be willing to pay for it in some extra package.
