      @HockeyDoxie @Dagnar @Darbzilla Well good for you. You still beat the odds raising your kids. I too was a single mom, now remarried. It is devastating when a spouse abandons the family. I swear my ex had an early midlife crisis. He tells our son he regrets the divorce.

      @chitchatkat1 @Darbzilla @Dagnar @HockeyDoxie Anecdotally speaking, I think it is more of a meme than a reality. I'm watching most people my parents age diving head first into grandparenting. I had my kids young so most people I know my age aren't grandparents yet. I cannot wait to make baby quilts and buy clothes for something other than my granddog.
