Sir @freemo I was curious about the Facebook threads thing. From what I understand accounts should be accessible through Mastodon and I have seen people posting their handles directly.
I'm however unable to find any user from there or read any thread. I searched through the blocked domains list but didn't find threads.
Do you know why I can not connect to those accounts?

@freemo I don't actually know too much about it. From what I understood it is partially connected to the fediverse with users having the opt-in optionality to connect their account to the fediverse.
From what I understood, the account of Mark Zuckerberg is connected to the fediverse and can be used for testing.
@zuck@threads.net should open his profile, but in my case it opens the threads webpage. You can also check this toot which contains a threads handle which from what I understand is someone who took part in the thread, however I cannot see that on qoto.

@rastinza @freemo > what I understand is someone who took part in the thread
dr love didn't take part in that particular thread but https://shitposter.world/notice/ApkZ0CNwiYdNgk7yIC otoh is one of her threads federated into pleroma space
pleroma currnetly has a bug where users (of any network) with a '.' in their usernames don't federate properly but threads users can like and RT my replies to them
