    @ThinkingSapien

    People are getting pretty wound up about the net neutrality court decision today. It really comes down to “telecommunications service" provider vs an "information service” provider.

    Congress needs to address this not the FCC and while congress is at it reclassify ISP’s, web hosting providers and social media sites as common carriers.

    Easy peezy.

      @HopelessDemigod @ThinkingSapien The problem is (as @KarlBode described and reported plenty of times over the years on Techdirt and other places), Congress is just too corrupt and inept to pass ANY meaningful legislation to benefit consumers.

      With only three, yes THREE states (CA, WA, CO I think) that have a net neutrality law in the books, it's going be very bleak for consumers and small businesses alike unless more states step up which I highly doubt.
