   white, middle-class and mostly male American political intelligentsia are NOT self-aware enough to understand the sociopolitical moment we are in.

     @blogdiva I read that and like... I stopped respecting that person ages ago, but wow.

     Biden appointed Lina Khan, and some of the infrastructure stuff is good for climate (and good in general), and he did a few decent things here or there but otherwise... Kept Trump's immigration policies, stopped covid prevention efforts, slowwalked any accountability for powerful people who committed crimes (but supported cops), and let a lot of policies aimed at supporting regular Americans expire. Then supporting genociede like you said. He was very much a centrist president.
