Save an image (full direct copy) of your disk. (This may take a while.) That way you have some time later to work on the problem, perhaps with a recovery expert, without writing over "deleted" files that may still be sitting there like ghosts.

Still trying to figure out if there's a copy of the data somewhere, but doesn't seem likely. Not the end of the world though (I can capture more data), but it's annoying as fuck and makes me feel like an idiot 😣
