   The whole resolution of the Prince's curse and why Rella did it, why she didn't tell anyone, why she made you fight her as a boss... it's just amazing writing. It ties so many distinct plot threads together in a believable way, and just about had me crying.

   God damn, I love this game.

     Also? I love that Personalikes allow for easy indications about whether you should or should not read a spoiler. So good 😭

     @aud This is easily the best writing and character development I've seen from a Persona game, and that's saying something. Also can we talk about how the only *hint* of romance so far has been Hulkenberg's crush on Junah? And how Basilio is a precious idiot that must be protected at all costs?

     @cthos I kind of chortle imagining what it looked like for some of the front-row Sanctists to have the party run in, claim that they killed Louis for killing the prince, then run back in the next night and accuse Forden of doing the same, only to have Louis (?!?) show up and kill Forden instead...

     Like, I'll take "incredibly serious geopolitical assassinations that are best set to Yakety Sax" for $200.

     @xgranade Related point, up until Altabury I was *suspicious* that Louis wasn't behind the curse but I wasn't *sure*, which was great. I mean why would he have the curse formula on him? Right until he's falling through the roof.

     Also: Altus did manage to fool me, I thought we got em. Alas.

     @cthos I do love that "necromancer" in that setting basically seems to mean "amateur doctor who took the whole goth thing way way too seriously."

     The dead are dead, and the most you can do with magic is treat their corpses as puppets.
