   Tyler cleared the back acre of dense forest and turned it into a paddock. It took him a long time because he didn't always have the big tractor to handle the stumps. Then the grass took almost 2 years to grow in full enough to be eaten by the sheep. The chickens don't really head back there but I'm hoping to rotate them on a chicken tractor this summer on it

     ive been looking at stuff to feed em
     weirdly , watermelon seeds and crushed oyster shells are supposed to be good , in moderation

     @iwetoddid @madison @givenup Do you guys compost? Mine love compost pile because of all the bugs and semi-fresh fruits and veggies. I used to bait it with fruit the night before so that a bunch of extra bugs would come by.

     i dont yet .. but we did when i was a kid
     mom always sent me out with scraps to dump in
     the compost sometimes got hot ..lol

     consider some compost in a big plastic drum.. makes methane , which can fuel a small gas water heater
