     Why some* autistics love house chores:

     Doing laundry, vacuuming, or things like tidying can help bring a sense of familiarity to days that are disordered or not part of our routine.

     I feel so much more relaxed when I can get some so-called “boring” house chores done on unusual days. It brings a sense of order, accomplishment, control, and familiarity as I know these chores well.

     Of course, being AuDHD, when days follow a familiar routine, I am totally the opposite and crave spontaneity! 🤣

     * = asterisk next to some was to highlight this word: some. I.e. Not all. I wouldn’t even try to guess how many. But I know I’m not the only one!
