    It'd be kinda fun to make an "analog" clock with a second hand which does, in fact, run slower when someone is watching it, then catches up when nobody is looking.

    Seems like this ought to be doable with a fisheye lens in the center of a clock, as long as you pair it with a sufficiently good camera?

    There's open source gaze tracking software that can do that kind of detection, right?

      With optional "Lord Vetinari" mode that makes the second hand tick irregularly. I wonder how this would work with a continuously moving second hand?

      It is possible, but i would do it without camera, but a radar sensor.
