     @JessTheUnstill we had that in the past, but only for europeans. no reason to believe it will be any different.

     @skinnylatte the most disappointing have been reactions like, I work with plenty of these H1-Bs who are wonderful and even my friends but I’m sure there are Americans out there who could’ve done their job. I’m like WTF!

     @skinnylatte I don't know much about Asian immigration history, but didn't America allow lots of Chinese immigrants at some point? Especially all the Chinatowns on the west coast and a lot of the workers on the trans-continental railroad were Chinese I know.

     @skinnylatte Oh sure. I'm just trying to think about eras when the US did have "open borders" because they recognized that the more people the better.
