At least they won't immediately install some random .exe from Internet, because to them installing software from any other place then the App store/Play store is an alien thing. I just had to explain to a 10 year old for 5 minutes that they can't call from their desktop computer as if it was a phone. I got questions like: "But what if I put a SIM card in it?" or "But I have the numbers saved, what do you mean I can't just call a number like on a phone?".
School kids these days have been using phones/tablets for years before even going to school or taking "IT" classes in schools, but they are completely clueless in everything they do. It feels like you are talking to an elderly person and trying to explain something. It's the same thing. Unless they know the one specific correct "path" to do something, they simply can't do it. It's as if they don't think about what they are doing; nothing's going on in their heads.
