   Absolutely every time I go anywhere, I need to re-accept that I do not pack light and I will never pack light.

   I mean, I'm not that bad; I have a carry-on size suitcase that I check so I can also bring a backpack and a purse.

   But as for carry-on only? Or making your suitcase not heavy? No way; it's never going to happen.

     @kingrat I'm already living with way less of my stuff than usual.

     Some people see carry-on only as a badge of honor. But I don't have to stop and buy a ton of sunscreen when I get somewhere!
