   what are some good linux distros to try out? my current install of popos keeps running into weird errors and I'm looking to try out something new

     @Rasp Yup. It can be made to be more complete, and you can choose what distro it is based in (Debain, Slackware, etc.) For a more complete experience, Fatdog64 is a fork with more added, but maintaining the bootable-from-USB-if-needed philosophy of pup

     I'd recommend Debian and Fedora (shamelessly recommending using KDE Plasma, but you do you)

     And (completely optionally), if you are fine doing a (slightly (via a script of mine)) more involved install of either, you can install them with ZFS as the root filesystem, and ZFSBootMenu instead of GRUB for an extremely reliable system!
