   Everything else being equal, an immigrant will always out-compete a native on the job market.
   
   A native is working for money, an immigrant is working for money and access to a society that's better than the one he was born.
   
   It doesn't take a genius to realize the immigrant will always accept a lower wage than the native.
   
   Personal competence is irrelevant, the same job that an African will out-compete me as a native Brazilian is a job i will out-compete any American if i emigrated there.

     @deprecated_ii Business that do this are parasites.
     
     They rely on selling what should be a public good ( a nation, in theory, belongs to all their citizens ) as part of their hiring bargain.
     
     A public good they make worse for everybody, since what makes a society desirable to live in is mostly who lives there in the first place.

     ... and no matter how far Americans' living standards decline, there will still be a limitless pool of immigrant applicants if other large countries' living standards are lower or decline faster 😩

     America is an natural gas-producing country and Germany is not. It's difficult for German auto manufacturers to remain competitive or even operational if the global energy markets get fucked up. So I've heard
     
     The Russio-Ukrainian war was being leveraged as a backdoor to implement a reversal the Marshall Plan and implement the Morgenthau Plan. Saw that on some Twitter conspiracy accounts.
