@cas Do folks actually allow notifications on their phones for anything other than their personal messaging app(s) (Signal, WhatsApp, WeChat, whatever) and alarm clock??

  @computersandblues @cas Yes but it's 2024 not 1990. Multiple generations have grown up with this stuff, and spam notifications are annoying enough that some large portion have to have figured out how to shut them up.
