   So #Honda and #Nissan are officially exploring a merger, adding more auto industry consolidation if it goes through. This obviously won't be good for consumers and competition as a whole that's for sure.

     @ppb1701 Yep, mergers won't benefit anyone but their shareholders and execs.

     @joeo10 My assumption is that Honda quality of cars and parts will be diminished. Nissan isn't in their league in quality, longevity and brand IMO (which will vary person to person).
