     @schykle @s31bz Running Fedora 41 on the Framework 13 over here, and it's fantastic! (I installed auto-cpufreq on it yesterday and now the battery life is matching my MacBook Pro so I'm even more ecstatic)

     Fam I'm so happy I'm sticking with Framework. Never need to leave Fedora for a BIOS or firmware update

     @s31bz Honestly my next laptop is bound to either come from System76 or Framework because I just have to support the things I believe in more than just with software... hardware matters too!!

     I lowkey wish I'd gotten a Dell at least so all my firmware could be done in Linux instead :( ASUS apparently doesn't do that, at least not on my model.

     @s31bz Dude even in the past TWO years it's gotten so much worse. I've been on macOS for two years, used Windows 11 briefly on a new laptop just to check firmware updates and... OH MY GOSH 😭😭😭

     Genuinely such a mess.
