@legoktm Interesting! In Italy it's pretty common to ask anything from the municipality, but there's no standardised number. My uncle works in a municipality of 20k people and he has to handle all sorts of questions. In a municipality of 500 people probably there's only one employee and everyone knows them so they get contacted directly on the private phones...

I saw this tweet (https://x.com/RnaudBertrand/status/1869971055206658177) earlier today about how most people haven't heard of it how useful it is and there is no analogue in the West. My impression about the latter is that it was overblown (there weren't enough non-state media sources to tell), but I definitely didn't know about it until reading the tweet so now it's in the English Wikipedia!
