   Lol, I've always thought #Vernissage or #Impressia is literally the only reason why I can bear and enjoy using #Pixelfed, the "official" web and mobile clients feel like school projects in comparison - I've always appreciated what they did in the backend/Fediverse ecosystem of things I suppose, but they're in no position to be so boastful about their "achievements" that's for sure. I've always thought that dude was strange, and they even have gotten irrationally mad/emotional w me before too for a simple misunderstanding (and apologised later, seems like that's a common theme). Have fun with Loops!

     @dansup@mastodon.social I know, I understand, and I am the same tho a lot less than you (as in, ure prolly a better and def more "decorated" dev than me). We're two different people with different values but please - as someone who loves "boasting" that the Fediverse is objectively better than the "big companies", it paints a totally different picture when you're gleefully cursing your own supporters - cos that's who Vernissage/Impressia are, they've made ur "product" a whole lot more "attractive" and usable for people like me. I hope yall can make up ur relationship, but if I were them, I'd honestly be "traumatic" or anxious that ure even in my GitHub repo, even "well" intentioned.
