     @realcaseyrollins i like to point out to people that the debate is literally about how many years you have to be alive to qualify for human rights. i also then ask them to clarify that your human rights are dependent on who the father is.
     
     they usually get very angry because both of these are true statements but you don't sound like a hero answering them

     This wouldn't be a political talking point or debate if men had to risk their lives carrying a child to term. So in the end this debate is really about not giving a fuck whether or not the woman dies, since every single pregnancy puts you at risk of death.

     @teratology @realcaseyrollins the entire axes of argument are basically those two questions: how much time before you have human rights, and are they contingent on the father.
     
     the christian position is basically <0 seconds, no>, the neoliberal position seems to be <random(), yes>. for some reason i get a lot of rizz from neoliberals refusing to just answer the fucking question though.
     
     (my own opinion is unusual but boring, not that anyone asked.)
