     @glynmoody Thinking you can talk / argue with them is so... 2009?

     If Musk donates they will use that money to buy exposure on social media. We've seen it happen everywhere in Europe: politicians getting votes online, not by debating.

     If you want to stop this without stopping donations there's one route: ban politics on social media. And good luck with that.

     @glynmoody That makes no sense. Whether or not you try to defeat their arguments (which is obviously a good idea) is completely orthogonal to whether you block their donations (which I think should be done as well as Musk has no British citizenship).
