     @ekknappenberger No, the claim that there's such a thing as "overpopulation" is fascist propaganda, and really means "there are too many of the wrong type of people and not enough of the right type".

     @ekknappenberger Earth can easily support 10x or even 100x as many people as live here now, just not with the gluttonous level of consumption our elite live at.

     But on the flip side, without intentionally depriving people of education and access to reproductive healthcare, and without policies that incentivize having lots of children (e.g. allowing child labor), population does not grow but naturally declines. There is no problem to solve here except evil rulers.

     @ekknappenberger I didn't say that's what you mean. I'm saying that that's what the ecofash myth you've bought into means to the people who are pushing it. If that's not your intent, okay, but you're just being a useful fool for them.

     We're not aiming for "billions and billions more crammed together". We're aiming for a world without the violent forcing factors that cause that to happen. But if that did happen, it's managable, and much less awful than advocating for the fascist practice of population control (which is always applied exclusively to "undesirable" people).
